Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'He was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.' The Servant dies — 'cut off' (cf. Dan. 9:26) — and for others' sin, not His own. The Ethiopian eunuch asked of whom this spoke, and Philip preached Jesus from it (Acts 8:32-35). The stricken One is the Lord Jesus, God in flesh, slain for the transgression of His people.
