Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalThis is the great repentance of Israel — every family mourning apart for the One they pierced (Zech. 12:10). And the pierced One is Jehovah Himself speaking: 'they shall look upon me whom they have pierced.' He is the Lord Jesus, God manifest in flesh; when Israel sees Him they mourn and are saved (Rom. 11:26), and the Oneness hope follows: 'in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one' (Zech. 14:9).
JewishNational mourning at the end, traditionally linked with Messiah ben Joseph who is slain (b. Sukkah 52a); the mourning family by family depicts deep and universal repentance.
CatholicThe end-time conversion and mourning of Israel, looking on the pierced Christ; read together with Romans 11 on the salvation of Israel.
