Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalAll things put under the feet of the Son of Man — Jesus, in whom the one God restores and exalts humanity (Heb. 2:8-9).
JewishA hymn of wonder at humanity's dignity and dominion in creation; read of mankind generally, not a messianic figure.
CatholicHebrews applies it to Christ, the true Man, crowned with glory and given dominion over all.
ProtestantHebrews 2 reads the 'son of man' as Jesus — 'we see not yet all things put under him, but we see Jesus' — the dominion fulfilled in Him.
