72:9They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
72:10The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
72:11Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'He shall have dominion also from sea to sea... all kings shall fall down before him.' This universal reign, prayed for Solomon, is fulfilled only in the Lord Jesus, to whom is given all authority (Matt. 28:18) and before whom every knee shall bow (Phil. 2:10-11). The kingdoms of this world become the kingdom of our Lord (Rev. 11:15) — the one God reigning in Christ.
JewishA royal psalm praying for the king's just, universal, and prosperous reign; idealized of the Davidic monarch and, by extension, the messianic age of worldwide peace.
