How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'He shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper... he shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.' The king who rescues the helpless and values their very blood is the Lord Jesus, who came to preach to the poor and set the oppressed free (Luke 4:18; Matt. 11:5). God's heart for the needy is revealed in the redeeming Christ.
