How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalGod stakes the permanence of Israel on the fixed order of sun, moon, and stars: only 'if those ordinances depart' will Israel cease to be a nation — that is, never. Paul affirms it: 'the gifts and calling of God are without repentance' (Rom. 11:28-29). The God who keeps the heavens and keeps His covenant is the one God revealed in Christ, faithful to His ancient people and to all who are His.
