How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'I have loved thee with an everlasting love' (v. 3) — the heart of the chapter that gives us the new covenant (31:31). God gathers His people 'from the north,' ransoms Jacob, turns mourning to joy. The everlasting love that gathers and ransoms is fulfilled in the Lord Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom (Mark 10:45); the God who loves Israel with everlasting love is God come in flesh to redeem.
