How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'In the last days... all nations shall flow' to the mountain of the LORD's house, and He shall judge and bring peace, swords beaten into plowshares. The Lord who teaches His ways and judges among the nations is the Lord Jesus, whose law goes forth from Zion in the gospel; the heavenly Zion is His (Heb. 12:22), consummated in the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:10) — the one God reigning in Christ.
JewishA central vision of the messianic age — Zion exalted, the nations streaming to learn God's Torah, universal peace and the end of war; shared with Micah 4.
CatholicThe Church as the mountain drawing all nations, Christ's law going forth from Zion; the peace of the kingdom, fulfilled now in part and fully at the end.
