Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalIn the day of the LORD every proud and lofty thing is brought low, 'and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.' Men hide in the rocks 'for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty' — the very scene Revelation paints at the Lamb's wrath (Rev. 6:15-17). The one God before whom all pride collapses is the Lord Jesus, exalted in that day above all.
JewishA day-of-the-LORD oracle humbling all human pride and idolatry, that God alone be exalted; a call to cease trusting in man.
