Hebrews applies Psalm 102:25-27 — 'Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth… thou art the same' — to the Son: the psalm's address to YHWH the Creator is spoken of Christ.

How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalThere is one Creator (Isa. 44:24 — 'I am the LORD… that stretcheth forth the heavens alone'); Hebrews predicates that Creator-text of the Son because the Son is God expressed — the invisible God out-raying in creative action — 'Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.'
JewishPsalm 102 is an afflicted man's prayer contrasting human transience with the eternal Creator; it addresses God, not a messiah.
CatholicThe Son is the eternal Word through whom all things were made; the psalm's Creator-language belongs to Him by nature.
ProtestantPerhaps the boldest citation in the catena: an unambiguous YHWH-Creator text predicated of Jesus.
DispensationalThe unchanging Creator guarantees every unfulfilled covenant promise; heaven and earth change, His word does not.
