Zechariah 1:14-17
“Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.”

How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it.' The LORD's jealous love for Zion and His promise to rebuild were fulfilled in part in the post-exilic temple, and fully in the Lord Jesus, in whom God returned to dwell among His people (John 1:14) and builds His true house (Heb. 3:6). The God jealous for Jerusalem is the one God revealed in Christ.
JewishGod's reassurance through Zechariah that, though the nations are at ease, He is zealous for Zion and will restore Jerusalem and the temple — comfort for the returned exiles.
