JewishPaul's statement is debated in Jewish-Christian dialogue. His 'all Israel' promise is viewed by some Jewish scholars as affirming a special covenant path for Jews.
CatholicDogmatic: a future conversion of Israel precedes the Parousia. The Catechism affirms this. The Church prays for this explicitly in the Good Friday liturgy.
ProtestantA future national turning of Israel to Christ. The olive tree metaphor (Rom 11:17-24) is the foundation of covenant theology's view of Israel.
DispensationalThe most explicit NT prophecy of Israel's future national salvation — fulfilled in the tribulation and at the Second Coming.
AcademicPaul's 'mystery' disclosure is a key NT eschatological passage. Debate centers on whether 'all Israel' means national Israel or the full elect (Calvin). The dative 'in this way' (houtōs) is grammatically contested.
