Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalThe gospel God promised by the prophets concerns His Son — 'made of the seed of David according to the flesh,' and 'declared to be the Son of God with power... by the resurrection from the dead.' The one Lord Jesus is both David's son in the flesh and the Son of God in power; the resurrection openly marked the man Christ Jesus as God's Son — God manifest in flesh and vindicated by rising.
JewishThe Davidic descent of the Messiah is a Jewish expectation (2 Sam. 7); the resurrection-declared divine sonship is the Christian confession, not Jewish.
