Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.' The word God gives goes forth through a great host of proclaimers — fulfilled at Pentecost, when the outpoured Spirit made the apostles bold and about three thousand were added (Acts 2:41), the gospel sounding to all the world (Rom. 10:18). The one God gives the word and empowers its heralds in Christ.
