Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.' God's word is fixed, unchanging, eternal — heaven and earth shall pass, but His word shall not (Matt. 5:18; 1 Pet. 1:25; Isa. 40:8). And the Word is a Person: 'In the beginning was the Word... and the Word was made flesh' (John 1:1, 14). The eternal, settled word of the LORD is fulfilled and embodied in the Lord Jesus.
JewishA confession of the eternal stability and faithfulness of God's word, fixed in heaven; the enduring trustworthiness of Torah.
