Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalThe Lord at the right hand who shatters kings 'in the day of his wrath' is Jesus returning in judgment (Rev. 19:15) — the one God executing judgment in the person of the glorified Christ. 'This same Jesus' (Acts 1:11) is the Judge of all the earth.
JewishThe warrior-king's victory over hostile nations; read of the Davidic king's conquests, and in some traditions of the Messiah's triumph over the enemies of Israel.
CatholicThe Messiah-King's eschatological judgment of the nations at His coming, consummating the reign begun at the Ascension.
ProtestantThe Second Advent in judgment — Christ shattering rebellious kings 'in the day of his wrath' (cf. Rev. 19); the present session gives way to consummated conquest.
