Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalGoing up to Jerusalem, Jesus says 'all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished' — His betrayal, mocking, scourging, death, and rising the third day. He read His own cross and resurrection in the prophets; the Lord Jesus, God in flesh, walked deliberately into the fulfillment of Scripture.
JewishA suffering, dying, and rising Son of man is not the mainstream Jewish reading of the prophets; the expectation was a triumphant Messiah.
CatholicChrist's clear foretelling of His Passion and resurrection 'according to the prophets'; His deliberate self-offering.
