5:26For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
5:27And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
5:28Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
5:29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'The hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth.' The voice that raises all the dead is the voice of the Lord Jesus — and to raise the dead is the prerogative of God alone. The Son who gives life and judges is God Himself in flesh; the two resurrections (life and damnation) are accomplished by His word.
JewishResurrection of the dead and divine judgment are Jewish hopes (Dan. 12:2); the claim that the Son's voice effects them is the point of contention, not the resurrection itself.
