How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.' The Light risen on Zion is the Lord Jesus — 'I am the light of the world' (John 8:12), the glory of God shining in the face of Christ (2 Cor. 4:6). In the New Jerusalem the Lamb is its light (Rev. 21:23); the glory of the LORD and the light of Christ are one God.
JewishZion's future glory — her light risen, the nations and their wealth streaming to a restored Jerusalem; a cherished vision of national exaltation and ingathering.
