How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'Thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name... thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.' The barren made fruitful, the covenant of peace that cannot be removed, 'no weapon... shall prosper' — all flow from the LORD who is Israel's Husband and Redeemer. Paul applies the barren-rejoicing to the church (Gal. 4:27); the Husband-Redeemer is the Lord Jesus, God of the whole earth in flesh.
