Isaiah 49:7
“Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful.”

The Servant despised and abhorred by the nation, before whom kings will yet rise and princes worship — humiliation reversed into honor.

Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalThe despised Servant before whom kings will worship is Jesus — the Redeemer and 'his Holy One,' the one God's salvation honored by all the earth.
JewishThe servant despised by the nations yet honored by kings — read of Israel's reversal among the nations, or in some readings a righteous individual.
CatholicChrist despised at His first coming, before whom kings will bow — humiliation crowned with glory.
