“Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans.”
King James Version
Babylon commanded to step down from her throne into humiliation, fulfilled in Cyrus's conquest and Rome's later destruction of the system.
