How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalAgainst the idols Bel and Nebo — which must be carried — the LORD declares 'I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning.' This absolute monotheism is the foundation of the apostolic faith: one God, who alone foretells and fulfills. And this God who carries His people (while idols are carried by beasts) came to carry us in the Lord Jesus — the one God revealed in Christ.
