How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal'It is the day of the LORD's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.' God summons the nations to judgment, with cosmic upheaval. This day of reckoning for Zion's cause is the LORD's, fulfilled when the Lord Jesus returns to judge the nations (Rev. 6:10ff). The God who pleads Zion's controversy is the one Lord, Judge of all.
