How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalHaving offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, Christ 'sat down on the right hand of God' — His priestly work finished — and now waits 'till his enemies be made his footstool' (Ps. 110:1). The seated Priest-King is the Lord Jesus; the last enemy, death, He will destroy (1 Cor. 15:26). God in flesh both made the offering and reigns until all is subdued.

CatholicChrist's once-for-all sacrifice and His heavenly session, awaiting the final subjection of all enemies (cf. the Catechism).
