How Traditions Read This Prophecy
Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalThe "Anointed One" (Messiah) who is "cut off" (v.26) is the one God dying in human flesh, and by that death He ends the sacrificial system, bearing it personally. The "he" who confirms the covenant and breaks it in the midst of the week (v.27) is not Christ but the antichrist — the seventieth week is his, not the Saviour's.
