Stephen, before the Sanhedrin, cites Moses' own prophecy: 'A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me' (Deut. 18:15) — the raised-up Prophet whom Peter (Acts 3:22) and the crowds (Jn. 6:14) identify as Jesus.

Apostolic (Oneness) PentecostalAt the transfiguration the Father's voice commands exactly what Moses foretold: 'hear ye him' (Mt. 17:5) — the Prophet has come, and His word (Acts 2:38) is the word Israel must hear.
