2 Samuel 3:9-10
“And Abner said to him, To thee I make this solemn oath, As the LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him; To translate the kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan even to Beer-sheba.”
King James Version
Abner formally acknowledging the divine decree that David would reign over all Israel, the transition of the kingdom.
