God's night answer to Solomon's temple dedication: when drought, locusts, or pestilence come, 'if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray… then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.' The covenant's standing repair procedure — invoked by every revival since.
